Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Kuro AI website, application and related services (the "Service"), provided by Kuro Data AI ("Kuro AI", "we", "us" or "our").

By creating an account, joining our waitlist or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Kuro AI is an AI-powered business intelligence platform for small and medium-sized businesses. It uses a multi-agent AI system to answer questions and generate insights from data you connect, such as email, calendars, spreadsheets and documents.

The Service can connect to third-party tools including Gmail, Outlook, Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive, Excel and PDF documents. Some connections are read-only and are used only to provide insights back to you.

You must provide accurate and complete information when you create an account, and keep it up to date. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity that takes place under your account.

The Service is intended for business use by users who are at least 16 years old and able to enter into a binding contract.

The Service is offered on several plans, including a free plan and paid Starter, Pro and Max plans. Paid plans are billed per user on a recurring basis in pounds sterling (GBP).

Payments are processed securely by our payment provider, Stripe. Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You authorise us to charge your chosen payment method for the applicable fees.

We may change our prices from time to time. Where a change affects your subscription, we will give you reasonable notice. Fees are exclusive of taxes unless stated otherwise.

The Free plan includes a 30-day period of full Starter-level access with no credit card required. After 30 days, you remain on the Free plan with reduced limits, or you may upgrade at any time.

You can cancel your subscription at any time with no penalties or hidden fees. If you cancel, you will retain access to your paid plan until the end of your current billing period, after which the subscription will not renew.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in breach of any applicable law or regulation.
• Upload or connect data that you do not have the right to use, or that infringes the rights of others.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, resell or interfere with the Service or its underlying technology.
• Circumvent usage limits, security measures or access controls.
• Use the Service to build a competing product or to disrupt other users.

You retain ownership of the data and content you connect to or upload into the Service. You grant us a limited licence to process that content solely to operate the Service and provide insights to you.

Your business data is never used to train our AI models. You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary rights and permissions for any data you connect. Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

The Service integrates with third-party providers such as Google, Microsoft and Stripe. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their acts or omissions. You can disconnect an integration at any time.

The Service, including its software, multi-agent architecture, design and content (excluding your own data), is owned by Kuro Data AI and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to our trademarks or branding.

We work hard to keep the Service available and reliable, but we provide it on an "as available" basis. Features may change, and parts of the Service may be offered in beta or preview form. We may suspend or limit access for maintenance, security or operational reasons.

The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate insights and suggestions. While we strive for accuracy, AI outputs may contain errors or omissions and should not be relied on as professional financial, legal, tax or other advice. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before acting on them for important decisions.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kuro Data AI will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Kuro Data AI from any claims, losses or expenses arising out of your misuse of the Service, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that could cause harm to us or others. On termination, your right to use the Service ends, and you may export your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you through the Service. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
