Frequently Asked Questions
28 straight answers about what Kuro AI does, what it connects to, and what happens to your data.
Getting Started
How do I get started with Kuro AI?
Connect the tools you already use — it takes four clicks — then start asking questions in plain English. Most owners get their first useful insight within five minutes. There is nothing to install and no setup project.
Do I need technical skills to use Kuro AI?
No. Kuro AI is built for business owners, not IT departments. You ask questions the way you would ask a colleague, and you can talk to it instead of typing. There is no dashboard to build, no formulas and no query language to learn.
How long does setting up actually take?
Each connection is an OAuth sign-in that takes roughly a minute — you approve access with your existing account and never hand over a password. Uploading documents is drag-and-drop, and files are processed in under 30 seconds.
What if the tool I use is not supported yet?
You can still upload spreadsheets, PDFs, Word documents and text files directly, and ask questions of those. We are adding integrations through 2026 — tell us what you run your business on and it helps us prioritise.
Early Access & Launch
What does Early Access mean right now?
Kuro AI is a pre-release build. It may contain bugs or incomplete features, and documentation can be sparse. The full feature set arrives in mid October 2026, with public launch on 21 September 2026.
Which browser should I use?
Chrome, especially for Voice AI, which is where Kuro is most heavily optimised today. Safari, Edge and Firefox will be fully compatible in October 2026.
Will my data carry over from Early Access?
Yes. Anything you connect, upload or ask during Early Access stays in your account — you are not working in a throwaway sandbox.
Features & Capabilities
What can I ask Kuro AI?
Anything about your own business. Owners typically ask things like "Why was last week quieter than usual?", "Which regulars have not ordered in 30 days?", "Which invoices are still unpaid?" or "Can I afford another part-timer?" — including the diagnostic questions a dashboard cannot answer.
How does the multi-agent system work?
Five specialised agents divide the work. A Supervisor agent plans the task and delegates it, and the Knowledge Base, Calendar, Email and Data agents each do their part. That is why one question can span your inbox, your books and your files at once, and you can see what each agent did.
Can Kuro AI do things for me, not just answer?
Yes. It drafts replies in your tone, prepares supplier and follow-up emails, creates calendar events, updates your CRM and chases threads nobody answered. Anything that leaves your business waits for your approval first.
Can I talk to it instead of typing?
Yes. Voice AI is a real-time spoken conversation, so you can triage between jobs or while closing up. It works best in Chrome today.
Which documents can I upload, and how big?
Spreadsheets (CSV, XLS, XLSX), Word documents, PDFs and text files, up to 50MB each, processed in under 30 seconds. You can also sync files from Google Drive and OneDrive. Answers cite the source document, so you can check the working.
Can Kuro AI work on its own, without me asking?
Yes. You can switch on standing routines — a morning briefing of what matters, meeting prep, calendar conflict alerts, a weekly report, low-stock and refund alerts, and a daily check for emails that went unanswered.
Integrations
What does Kuro AI connect to?
Accounting: Xero and QuickBooks Online. CRM: HubSpot. Point of sale: Square, SumUp, Zettle by PayPal and Epos Now. Email and calendar: Gmail, Google Calendar, Outlook and Microsoft Calendar. Cloud storage: Google Drive and Microsoft OneDrive. Messaging: WhatsApp Business.
Can Kuro AI change things in my accounts?
No. Both accounting connections are strictly read-only — Kuro analyses and alerts, but has no ability to write to your books, raise invoices or process refunds. Your point-of-sale connections are read-only too.
Which integrations can write, then?
HubSpot is read-and-write, so contacts, companies and deals are created or updated on your instruction. Email and calendar send or change things only when you explicitly ask. CRM record deletion is deliberately not available.
Do I need to migrate off what I already use?
No. Kuro connects straight to each tool through its official API using your own secure connection — no migration, no setup fees, and no third-party plugin marketplace holding your credentials.
Security & Privacy
Where is my business data stored?
In the United Kingdom (AWS London) — your database, files, cache and backups. Two AI features, voice and search re-ranking, process transiently in the EU because those models are not offered in London, and we name them rather than bury it.
Do you train AI models on my data?
Never. Your business data is not used to train our models, and the underlying AI providers never receive it to train on either. It is processed to answer your questions and nothing else.
Is my business data secure?
Data is encrypted with AES-256 at rest and TLS 1.3 in transit, with multi-factor authentication, role-based access control, complete audit trails and 24/7 monitoring. We are UK GDPR compliant, aligned to ISO 27001, built to comply with the EU AI Act, and our controls are designed to SOC 2 Type II standards with certification in progress.
Could another business see my data?
No. Strict per-business isolation keeps your information separate from every other customer at all times, and every action is logged.
Can I delete my data?
Yes, yourself, whenever you choose — no support ticket and no waiting. You can export or erase your entire data and history, in line with your UK GDPR right to erasure.
Can Kuro AI delete my emails?
No, and it never will. Kuro can read, send, reply and draft, but deletion is deliberately not built. Drafts land in your provider’s Drafts folder so you always get a review gate before anything sensitive goes out.
Pricing & Billing
Is there a free trial?
Yes. The Free plan gives you 30 days of full Starter-level access with no credit card required. After 30 days you stay on the Free plan with reduced limits, or upgrade at any time.
What do the paid plans cost?
Starter is £4.99 per user/month during the autumn promotion, down from £8.99. Pro is £12.99 and Max is £28.99 per user/month. Pricing is per user, so it scales with your team rather than your revenue.
Can I change plans later?
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time and changes take effect immediately.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, with no penalties or hidden fees. If you cancel you keep access until the end of your billing period.
What payment methods do you accept?
All major credit and debit cards, processed securely via Stripe.
